Primetok was founded in 2022 by a group of e-commerce operators and video editors who kept meeting the same brand: a decent product, a competent Shopify store, and a TikTok Shop account that had been handed to whoever had the most free time.
The agencies available at the time were either social media managers who had never carried a revenue target, or performance shops who treated TikTok as a cheaper Meta and could not explain why their creative kept dying at four days. Neither understood that on this platform the shop, the content and the media buy are the same job.
So we built the agency that would have solved our own problem. One team that handles the storefront, the brand, the creative volume and the spend, measured against a single number the client actually cares about: gross merchandise value against total cost.
Three years on we are a specialist team in Ilford, working with e-commerce brands across the UK, Ireland, the EU and the US. We have deliberately not diversified into other channels. TikTok Shop moves fast enough that being excellent at one thing is a full-time commitment.

These are not aspirations on a wall. Each one has cost us money at some point, which is the only reason worth stating them.
If your ad budget is too small to read, if paid is not your constraint, or if you should spend the next month on stock rather than content — we say so, even when it costs us the retainer. It is the only way the advice is worth anything.
On TikTok, the twentieth video teaches you more than the first one perfected. We would rather ship, measure and cut than spend three weeks protecting an asset from contact with an audience.
Blended GMV against total cost. Not impressions, not follower growth, not in-platform ROAS in isolation. Every report we send leads with the number that determines whether the channel is worth running.
Most TikTok Shop failures are logistics failures wearing a marketing costume — stockouts, shipping promises, catalogue structure. We involve ourselves in that detail because ignoring it makes the marketing pointless.
Assets, accounts, pixel history and documentation stay with you. If a brand outgrows us and takes it in-house, that is a good outcome, and we hand over a system rather than a dependency.
TikTok bills you directly for media. We take a retainer for the work and nothing on top of the budget, because an agency that earns more when you spend more will eventually tell you to spend more.
Every account is staffed against these roles. You speak to the people doing the work, not to an account layer that relays it.

Category strategy & account direction
Sets the category read, the ROAS floor and the quarterly plan on every account. Ten years across marketplace and DTC e-commerce before TikTok Shop existed.

Creative direction & brand systems
Owns the hook library, the brand kits and the standard every asset is judged against. Came from short-form editing rather than traditional advertising, which shows in the output.

Creator network & studio production
Runs the creator roster, the sample logistics and the studio calendar. The reason forty videos a month is a schedule rather than an aspiration.

Paid media & measurement
Hands on the ad accounts every working day. Built the blended reporting model we use to reconcile TikTok's numbers against what actually reaches the bank.

Shop builds, catalogue & compliance
Handles verification, catalogue architecture, shipping templates and category compliance. Has seen every rejection code TikTok issues and knows what fixes each.

Client communication & reporting
Your weekly point of contact. Writes the note that explains what changed and why, so the dashboard is never the only thing you get.
Team names and biographies are placeholders pending final sign-off. Roles reflect how every account is genuinely staffed.
We have deliberately not diversified. Each of these steps made us better at the same job rather than adding a new one.
Three operators, one edit suite and two clients who had been turned down by bigger agencies for being too small.
Ad-hoc production became a weekly system: script bank, brief template, variant cutting and a hook-rate benchmark every asset is measured against.
We stopped referring media buying out. Creative and spend under one roof removed the handover that was costing accounts a week every time a campaign fatigued.
Produced Live shopping became a standing service, and the first EU and US shops went live for existing UK clients.
Our studio and edit suite are in Ilford, which keeps us close enough to central London for client sessions and shoots. Every engagement we run works entirely remotely, and most of our clients are elsewhere in the UK.

We are most useful on accounts that have already tried something and found it did not work. Tell us what happened and we will tell you why.
